Our mission is to provide our customers with healthy pest-free aquacultured marine organisms while adhering to our core values of integrity and environmental friendliness.
About
Sustainable Reef Solutions (SRS) was established in 2020 by reef keeping hobbyists with the desire to provide a source of knowledge and responsible aquaculture of marine organisms to people all over the world. Today, we are primarily focused on the aquaculture of coral with future expansion planned for peppermint shrimp and other marine organisms.
In alignment with our mission, our propagation tanks are powered almost exclusively by a 10.98 kW photovoltaic system. Our water purification system is set up to waste the least amount of water possible, with brine (waste) water being sent to a storage container to be used for watering plants. We also do not propagate coral which has been taken directly from the wild.
SRS is presently located at the owner’s garage in Pleasant Hill, CA. As we scale our business we will look at opportunities for physical expansion.
